You're initially going to lose weight, but then you're going to plateau. And then you're going to gain the weight back you lost and sometimes even more! But you have been running on a calorie deficit. . .and your body’s not stupid, its not gong to run on a deficit, because it can’t. . . it will die! And so will you! An example would be you try to take $2000 out of your account when you only have $1500. And if you insist on taking the $2000 out . . . you are going to jail! So your body adjusts, it ramps down, your BMR (starvation mode) to match, actually a little lower, than your 1500 kcal/day. Say to 1400 kcal/day . . . which means . . you will gain weight even though you're only eating 1500kcal/day! And what do you get for all those horrible weeks of suffering and feeling cold, hungry and miserable? A very upset finger pointing back at you, saying, “it's your fault, because you should have listened to me closer! And you should have had more will power!” Wow! How crazy and sad is that?
