12/31/2019 0 Comments Fat Insulin Keto Weight Loss . . .![]() FUN FACT: Anyone who has been injecting insulin in the same spot for a while, knows that they will develop fat deposits, at the site of the injection. See below . . . Lets give you one more simple metaphor to help you really understand this very important point. If you look at insulin like food police, every time you eat food the police (insulin) come out. And as long as you stay within the speed limit (eating limit) that is you use (metabolize) all the carbs / proteins you eat. You will not get a ticket (fat). But if you keep eating and not using all the carbs and proteins (sugars), then your constantly over the speed limit (repetitive speeding tickets) . . . The insulin police will then take you to a “jail cell” . . . aka “fat cell” and where you’ll be spending large amounts of time making a lot of fat cells (obesity) . . . Because you keep eating and not using all your carbs and proteins . . Capiche? At this point you will have 2 choices:
food police (insulin) to take you to a jail cell (fat cell = obesity)-remember? Which is a very tedious and cumbersome task. Not to mention extremely inconvenient; especially when your life is already so packed full of tasks and to do lists! FUN FACT: Be like Micahel Phellps and eat and use (metabolize)12,000 calories a day! With a no excess body fat and no fatty liver or type 2 diabetes. Of course this is an extreme example to show you that it is not insulin, but rather “unused” carbs and proteins (sugars) that cause insulin to do bad things in your body! We of course, are not advocating for you to eat 12,000 calories a day . . but we are advocating for you to use all the carbs and proteins (sugars) that you consume in a day . . . so that insulin will be your friend and not your foe!
Now which one sounds like a good bit easier and a whole lot more fun?

12/31/2019 0 Comments Weight Loss Keto and Insulin“So insulin has to come out every time you eat a carb or protein making you store fat and that will eventually cause you to have a . . . .
fatty liver (insulin resistance) = fatty pancreas (type 2 diabetes) = fatty you (obesity)!” In point of fact and this is by far our favorite study, because its so simple and elegant and so very true . . . you can not grow fat cells until and unless insulin is present. So in the laboratory when scientists try to grow fat cells in a petri dish . . they can not grow one fat cell until they introduce insulin in the dish! “So simply put . . . Insulin makes you fat and you are fat because of insulin!” How is that for succinctness? 12/31/2019 0 Comments Diabetic and KetosisHere is a huge study (Whitehall Study) to confirm what we just shared with you . . . There were over 38,000 people studied for over a 10 year period.
The top line is the people who developed diabetes, you can see how the line is slowly (over a 13 year period) going up and up ( fatty liver then pre-diabetic) over time until their pancreas can't keep up with insulin production. Because of the unused carbs and proteins (sugar) being consumed. And then there pancreas just can't keep up and their sugar (glucose) just rockets sky high. Which is when the diagnosis of diabetes is made. You are probably thinking its a good thing I won’t become a diabetic because I don't constantly eat carbs consistently or excessive proteins . . .right? Well, negative, if you are not Keto (burning your own fat for energy in the form of ketones) then you are in glycolysis (burning sugar for fuel). FUN FACT: do you know what the number one selling item in practically any grocery store is? The 5 pound bag of white sugar. And it would make sense because the average you (American) consumes over 150 lbs of the white death (sugar) a year! You see, even if you eat a small amount of carbs or you our on a low carb diet. You will still be out of keto and into glycolysis (using sugar for fuel) And you are well on your way to having a fatty liver, then becoming pre diabetic and finally a diabetic because you are constantly eating sugar. You see when you eat carbs . . . you eat sugars. Because you can not use any type of carb for fuel . . . Carbs must be broken down into glucose (sugar) and stored as glycogen (chains of sugars) before you can use them for fuel. What about proteins like in the Paleo, Adkins or the Carnivore diet? Well unfortunately you can not use protein for fuel either . . . proteins must be broken down into amino acids which can and do form sugars . Especially if you eat more than adequate amounts of proteins. And you might be asking. . . just what is an adequate amount of protein? Great question and the simple answer is not more than 15% of your daily macronutrient intake. Macronutrients being Fats - Proteins - Carbs. 12/31/2019 1 Comment Keto and Fatty Liver . . .???So understand that when you eat a “normal” meal of a hamburger and french fries with a vanilla shake, that is approximately 98 carbs and 20 grams of protein. And if you just go back to work and sit in front of a computer or just walk around your building doing light lifting, you will not use (metabolize) all those carbs and proteins (which break down into sugar). Which will cause your insulin the burden of trying to push all those unused sugars (carbs/proteins) into your already drenched with sugar soak cells. This is what gives rise to insulin resistance which gives you a fatty liver and more insulin resistance until you finally get a fatty pancreas and a fatty you with type 2 diabetes!
Fun Fact: a corollary on how to make a fatty liver is like making foie gras. To produce “foie gras” (the French term means “fatty liver”), workers ram pipes down the throats of caged (no exercise) male ducks twice each day, pumping up to 2.2 pounds of grains (starchy carbs/sugars) making their livers extremely fat. That is a mighty big statement and by the end of this book, we hope that you will agree with us?
In order to understand our book InsulThin Keto you must understand insulin. So just what is insulin and what exactly does it do for us? Insulin is a hormone produced by your pancreas, more specifically, the beta cells in your pancreas. And its job is to push primarily sugar into your cells, so they can have fuel to function. What's wrong with that you say? Well nothing on the surface . . . But when you consume but don't use all the carbohydrates (aka sugar) and proteins (aka sugar), you make a health problem that’s called a fatty liver; which in turn makes insulin resistance; which will cause your pancreas to make more insulin; which will cause a worsening of your fatty liver; which makes you more insulin resistant; which will eventually fatten and fatigued your pancreas. And then your cells will be so full of sugar that your beta cells won't be able to produce enough insulin to push anymore sugar into your cells. Which then makes your insulin ineffective and then you will be diagnosed a full blown Type 2 diabetic. 12/31/2019 0 Comments What is InsulThin Keto?Wow! We are so excited to bring you what we believe is the very best version of Keto available today!
We believe that you have very busy and often times demanding lives, so we purposely designed this book to be relatively short but hard hitting and packed with simple and useful information (Action Steps) that could change your life right now and for the better. And with over 70% (71.6 of US obese CDC) of us in the US obese, we can think of no better time to start losing weight and feeling great! So with that said let's start with a definition of . . . . InsulThin keto literally means that you are in a ketogenic “keto” state (using good fats you eat and your own fat for fuel) and consuming foods and drinks that do not spike your insulin past a very low homeostatic (balanced) level. InsulThin Keto aka Insulin Keto is based on hard, verifiable evidence that “unused” and constant amounts of carbohydrates and excessive amounts of proteins (like what is prescribed by our standard american diet or S.A.D.) causes insulin to be our number one health problem. When it comes to obesity and type 2 diabetes and the resulting horrific decline of your general health and well being. 12/31/2019 0 Comments What is The InsulThin Diet? - Dr GregoOur mission is to end the needless suffering brought on by our food industry. If we are going to do that, you should understand that:
We have a mission similar to that of Dr. Mark Hyman, who is a functional medicine doctor (Cleveland Clinic). That mission is to change our food industry, because, quite frankly, it causes needless suffering, here and around the world! And so we are joining him…because… We believe, like Dr. Hyman, that your food choices, by and large, have been covertly conceived to make you suffer, to make you sick, and to make you…obese. All propagandized in the name of a so-called “balanced diet.” For example, Tony the Tiger. “Frosted Flakes is part of a balanced breakfast.” Oh, please, give us a break! One of the first deceptions you should be aware of is the fact that the food industry does not have your health in mind. They hold an allegiance to industrialized agriculture (Big Ag), which is a $15-billion-a-year industry. They use unhealthy and harmful methods of farming. They use unsustainable strategies such as the widespread use of destructive fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, tilling, deforestation, fungicides, and GMOs instead of a more natural and healthy way of regenerative agriculture, which utilizes crop rotation, growing cover crops, composting, and integrating animals for a more natural and sustainable method of growing food. This, ultimately, would be much better and enriching to the farmer, the land, your health, and our well-being. Allow us to explain a little further just how the food industry controls your destiny when it comes to your weight management and your health. Directly put, you are not your ideal weight because of the foods you eat. You are eating the foods you’re eating because of our food system. Our food system is governed by rules and regulations given to us by Congress. And Congress is co-opted by our food industry. How, you ask? By the food industry giving millions of dollars to special interest groups that wine-and-dine members of Congress to coerce them into voting for “their” particular interests. That is how “their” laws are made and that's how unhealthy, ultra-processed foods end up on your kitchen table. These foods are then fed to our children, which causes them to be unruly, more violent, and less intelligent. In addition, they become diabetic and obese. In fact, our kids are so out of shape that, right now, 70% of our kids (age 17 to 24) would be unfit for our military. This is not happening just at your table but at our entire nation’s table. And not just our nation’s…but the entire world’s table! Bad diets kill more than 11 million people a year! And ultra-processed food is the biggest driver of chronic illness in the U.S. Presently, it’s responsible for six out of 10 chronic diseases. And diabetes and obesity cost our country almost $1 trillion a year. Because ultra-processed, high-carb, low-fat foods are the biggest drivers of obesity and diabetes… Now, with over 70% (71.6 of US obese CDC) of us in the U.S. being obese, we know that this is a huge problem. The food system is both the problem and the solution. So we, along with Dr. Hyman and others, are going to do our part, and change the food system…one bite at a time… We can think of no better time to introduce you and your family…to the InsulThin diet. So, let's get started with a definition of…the InsulThin diet. The InsulThin diet literally means that you are in a ketogenic “keto” state, using good healthy fats that you eat and your own fat for fuel while consuming foods and drinks that do not spike your insulin levels. You should know that there are basically three distinct types of keto. The first type of keto is dirty keto. That is a meat-and-cheese-based form of keto. It is a very protein-dense and plant-poor type of keto and does cause some challenges, like constipation and the keto “flu.” So, we do not recommend it, as it is not sustainable. The second type of keto is called clean keto. It is an all-plant-based form of keto – basically, plants like avocados, coconuts, macadamia nuts, and green veggies. It’s a great form of keto if you are a vegan or vegetarian, and it is sustainable. But it does leave out some fruits and proteins that are necessary for optimum health, in our opinion. That’s why we came up with the InsulThin diet. It is a plant-rich diet, not a plant-based diet. The InsulThin diet uses plants with every meal…but they are not the entire meal. The InsulThin diet uses regenerative meats and fish, and the occasional low-glycemic fruits, to make the most optimum eating plan that is regenerative for the land, for your health, for our country’s health, and for the world at large! The InsulThin diet, aka InsulThin lifestyle, is based on hard, verifiable evidence that “unused” and constant amounts of carbohydrates and excessive amounts of proteins and low fats (like what is prescribed by our Standard American Diet or S.A.D.) cause the constant production of insulin, which is our number-one health problem when it comes to obesity, type 2 diabetes, and the resulting horrific decline of your general health and well-being. - Dr Gego |
